2008 ARMA Canada turns 40...

2008 is ARMA Canada's 40th anniversary. Plan to celebrate with your chapter and also at the Region Conference in Fredicton June 1 - 4 2008.

The program is hot off the press.....The program for the 2008 Canada Region Conference is now available. Currently the program is in pdf format, but very shortly you will be able to view it in a web page.

Have a look at all the informative sessions and speakers and then register using the on-line registration form

Outreach stories...

Local chapters are often approached and even more often, volunteer, outreach activities to provide records management expertise, help and advice to organizations, locally, nationally and internationally. We would encourage you to share your chapter's stories with the rest of Canada Region. Send the information to the web master for posting on this site.

ARMA Calgary Chapter....was approached through the Archivist's network to assist the Regional Taxation Office in Ica Peru. The whole story is available here.


UBC School of Library Science Co-Op Program

This is a reminder that graduate students from the University of BC's School of Library, Archival, and Information Studies are still available for 4 or 8-month work terms beginning this May. Students from this program work across Canada and around the world.
